Hi - I just finished my first Firefox extension and would love opinions/comments/suggestions on it.
It's not only an extension, but also part of a service to build free image galleries on the web.
To install the extension please go here:
www.lovehorsepower.com/gallerymaker.xpi
After restarting Firefox, choose the tools menu, and select 'Gallery Maker Setup'. A simple dialog appears - enter your email address, and click the 'Create New Account/Lost Password' button. That's all there is to signing up. The service will email you a new password. Place that password into the same dialog box, hit OK, and you're ready to start!
You can right click any image within Firefox and add it to your gallery, or make a new gallery. You can also add all the images from a page. All the 'work' is done on the server, and when processing is complete, it will email you. The system only adds 'good' images - ie images of at least a certain resolution and byte size. This avoids icons, banners etc..
You can also perform a 'deep scan' of a page which will follow links one level searching for images. You can queue up as many jobs as you want. The galleries are copies of the images, not just links - so even if the source disappears, you'll still have your gallery.
The galleries also support youtube videos.
Here is what the gallery selector looks like from within Firefox:
Here is the gallery manager (accessible through right click menu). From here you can delete galleries, and delete individual images from your gallery.
Right clicking an image from the gallery manager pulls up the full size image like this:
Here is a sample gallery:

As an another example gallery, I 'deep scanned' the web site icanhascheezburger.com, which resulted in:

Just a few clicks, and you have a gallery!
As a side note, you can also email the service to add images.
Just send an email to images@lovehorsepower.com. In the subject line, put the name of your gallery, and then attach images and send. Those images will then be added to your gallery, or you can also create a new one.
I certainly appreciate any comments, and if you happen across a bug, please let me know! Thanks in advance for your review!
