Translation Bookmarklets

Here are a few bookmarklets that I made recently that make it easy to translate any page that you are visiting with just a click on a bookmark.

The bookmarklets translate either the entire current page you are visiting or a bit of text that you have selected on the page. Currently there are translation bookmarklets available for two services; those using Google's translation service and those using Altavista's Babel Fish translation service.

Of course I am not the only to have made bookmarklets for translation, but this collection is complete as far as language pairs go and uses two of the most popular translation services. There's also a bookmarklet to leave translation mode. Of course it's quite a lot of bookmarklets and you probably won't ever need them all, so you could bookmark the page with the bookmarklets and whenever you need a translation bookmarklet for the first time you just install it.
