Last week, we announced that we are sponsoring the first ever Add-on-Con conference and we can’t say enough about how excited we are to see this conference happen. Mozilla has been a leader in providing a stable and extensible platform on which to build add-ons and this conference truly helps to validate all of our hard work.

In an attempt to give us a better place to link to for Ubiquity, we’ve put up a shiny new home for Ubiquity based on a mix of the Labs and Mozilla site designs. It has the basic web-site doodads: a big link to the download, links to the tutorials (now in multiple languages!), and a brief video introduction. It also has an experimental kind of Planet-style news aggregator.

There are several add-ons for Firefox that will change the way you can interact with images and galleries, and joining that clan of extensions is OutWit Images. It is a simple, straight to the point image browser for the browser. It does all the catching, saving and auto-browsing for you.The thing that makes OutWit Images different than other image browsers, is it allows user to save images right to the hard drive and browse from there. From within Firefox, you can collect images from various web sources with just a simple click of the button.

We set out to build an open, customizable music player. Today, we’re launching with dozens of integrated services, hundreds of add-ons, and a growing developer community. We’ll be the first to admit that there’s plenty left to do. And, while we’re not ready for everyone, 160k users a month are expressing their vote for an alternative music player.

On top of today's exceptional news about Firefox surpassing 20% worldwide market share during the month of November, we have further good news to share. After Firefox reached the 50% market share milestone in Indonesia back in July, we can now say the same about two more regions: Slovenia and Macedonia.
