You can use Thunderbird's Import Wizard to migrate your mail from Outlook, Outlook Express, Mozilla, Netscape, or Eudora. Otherwise, you can use a manual procedure to migrate your mail. Thunderbird uses a standard mail format that's used by many other mail clients, so migrating mail either manually or with the Import Wizard is not complicated.

Thunderbird 3 Beta 1 is available for testers, extension developers, and other people who are curious to follow the development of the next release of Thunderbird. This milestone is focused on testing the core functionality of the new features and platform changes that will be included in Thunderbird 3.

Thunderbird can finally do the Tango

For a long time Thunderbird has been using the same theme for Linux and Windows, resulting in an ugly and out of place Linux theme. However now Magnus has a patch is up to create a gnomestripe theme space. Magnus already moved Thunderbird menus over to using the gtk stock icons.
