This lets you view programmes at any screen size and allows skipping within the video so you can reach any part of the programme quickly and easily.

This minor revision to AMO includes some fixes to some vexing problems as well as a few ease-of-use features. We’ve added a “slider mechanism” to the front page so that you users iterate through five of the featured add-ons.

Some of the bugs resolved include the dreaded “version bumped add-on will not install”, empty review pages (sometimes), and ability to see sandboxed versions of a public add-ons.

When you want to backtrack a few paces in your web surfing clicktrail but not lose the page you're on, in Firefox 3, click on your current tab, hold down the Ctrl key and drag it. This will duplicate the tab and keep its history in the copy—that way you can back out and stay where you are in another tab. Sadly this trick only works in Firefox for Windows, not on the Mac. New version of the Firebug Net Panel History Overlay is available. This version requires Firebug version 1.2.0b4; that's the latest version at the moment. The previous version of the history add-on was making Firebug to hang; some functions from Firebug that I used changed as well as some of the NetMonitor and NetPanel behaviours so it was causing hang.
Due to behaviour changes it might happen that with new versions of the Firebug I will have to tweak history add-on but read more »

Do you know Mibbit? It’s an awesome web based IRC client. IRC, for those not old enough to recall, meant chat long before instant messaging entered the scene and is still a very reliable option for group and peer-to-peer text communication.

You can take advantage of Firefox 3’s support for web-based protocol handling to make it your default IRC client and handle irc:// links whenever you found one.
