I would like to demonstrate how to setup a socks proxy that enables anonymity and privacy while surfing the web. Before you start reading I think it will be helpful to take some time to get familiar with a few key definitions. I realize that some of the terms may seem familiar, however I would like you to read each definition thoroughly as the meaning of some words becomes clearer when defined in context. This article is a rewrite of one I wrote earlier. I have learned a lot more since writing the first article and feel that I can incorporate that knowledge into a more complete article.
